Meet Your Trainers
Joanne Sweeney, Digital Marketing Trainer
I am a digital marketing author, trainer and practitioner. I teach business owners and marketers how to build an effective online presence. I am also an international speaker and provide training for Google across Europe. I have previously spoken at Facebook in Dublin and Twitter in San Francisco. I design and deliver my own accredited courses in person and online. I am a podcaster and YouTube vlogger and host a weekly blog. I love taking the fear out of digital marketing for my students and empowering them to run their business online. Based in Galway, I am originally from Donegal.

About the Project
This project designs, develops and delivers a bespoke training program (called for the purpose of this project The Loop Head Digital & Video Marketing Academy – LDM&VA) to equip a mix of LHT network members, LHT Associates, and community members involved in other activities with the capacity to digitally market their activities to their various target groups.
The two halves of the LDM&VA (the Loop Head Digital Marketing Academy (LDVA) & the Loop Head Digital Video Academy (LDVA)) coordinate their deliverables on this digital hub. They have designed their courses in a way that helps us – the participants – to optimise the synergies between them. In this way, a holistic approach to learning – including digital communication and content creation, visioning, frameworks and skills – is ensured.
In turn, this empowers the participants to provide concise and timely engagement and information to those living or visiting the Peninsula and to those who are considering living on or visiting the Peninsula.
This is a step towards the sustainable development of all concerned, and provides a great way to express out love and appreciation for our home peninsula and neighbourhoods.
